Life never turns out the way we plan, now does it?  Not in my experience, no.  So I planned my life to be married, have 2 children, and have a fulfilling job.  I'm now 5,0 and that is not how my life has turned out thus far.  Don't get me wrong, my life is wonderful.  I do have an amazing husband, have a very fulfilling job which I love, but no children.  I do, however, have a 20lb Harvey.  He's the love of my life, and we rescued him in March of 2020.  He has healed my heart and makes me smile. Isn't he the most handsome fellow!  God brought him into my life at just the right time.  

Not a lot of other changes in my life; I've been working from home since the end of 2017.  I make a couple of trips a year to NY, and that has been lovely.  Doug and I are having a house built in Oakland, Maryland, and the excavation on that starts........TODAY.

I'm super excited about the prospect of a new house and a new beginning.  It will be nice to have a fresh start.  This will be our forever home.  I'm looking forward to picking out everything and it all being new and fresh!
